At Heartland Helping Hands we are a 501c3 and our mission is to help veterans in need with food, vision, dental care and other medical expenses that is not commonly provided by the VA in addition to helping those in need. We are also organizing many major events and festivals in Highlands County to raise funds for community aid and outreach, disaster relief, and assisting those in need. Events include, but not limited to, The Springapalooza Avon Park Mall Festival, Avon Park Halloween Festival, Feed the  (Feeding the veterans at Christmas), Avon Park Christmas On The Mall, and more! Many of these events we have recently partnered with the Avon Park Chamber of Commerce to bring you even more excitement and entertainment at these events.
